Founded in 1993, we have come a long way in experience and our portfolio offering includes service offerings to meet the demands of today. The world’s leading content creators, broadcasters, OTTs, and distributors rely on our experience and expertise as we provide end-to-end global media services with unmatched staff strength, infrastructure and a valuable database of talent including voice actors, writers, language supervisors, directors, recording and mix engineers and QC specialists.

The state-of-the-art studios, in-house talent and resources, cutting-edge technology with 5.1, 7.1, 11.1 and Atmos mix facilities at SVI are one of the best in the industry. We operate from our facilities in Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Delhi, Kochi and Kolkata.

Our services include dubbing, subtitling, access services, voice casting, translation, song recording and mixing for movies, web series, TV shows, documentaries, songs, jingles, TVC’s and radio spots on a turnkey basis. We also provide training and our experienced team supports aspiring voices with the techniques required to enhance their skills and give them the tools to help improve performance in any language. Founder

Leela Ghosh

Sound & Vision Studios was founded by Leela Ghosh around 1993, a professional singer, English teacher and an Advertising & Tourism professional who shot to fame as one of the finest dubbing directors in the country due to her deep knowledge of Indian culture and the performing arts. She was a celebrated singer having released several albums in a variety of Indian languages and having performed live all over the world.

Her knowledge of multiple languages, talent for adaptation, creativity, attention to detail and extreme professionalism led to the birth of SVS. From translation to adaptation to casting and direction, she did it all, and single handedly developed these services into an art form. The love and respect she garnered over the years through her hard work and dedication has seen SVI through the growth it has achieved over the years.

Mona Shetty

Leela Ghosh’s daughter Mona Shetty, is a well known Voice Actor, Voice Coach and Dubbing Director, having started out as a child voice at the age of 5.

She speaks multiple languages and has been the voice of numerous national and international ad campaigns and also dubbed for several actresses such as Rani Mukerji, Kajol, Bipasha Basu, Katrina Kaif, Jacqueline Fernandez, Cameron Diaz, Angelina Jolie, Milla Jovovich, Kate Beckinsale, Deepika Padukone, Nargis Fakhri and many more in their most memorable films. She turned director, under her mother’s guidance, at the age of 18 and since then has adapted and directed the language versions of several high profile titles along with her mother. She took over the reigns of SVS after her mother passed away in 2012.

Under her leadership, SVS has grown from under 20 to over 130 employees across 8 offices in India and has established itself as the leading localization in India by virtue of its capacity, infrastructure, technical and creative excellence and professional project management.
